Īlio Holo I Ka Uaua

This project is one of the two projects that I am showcasing that reflect off of where I came from; Hawaii. I want this piece to bring awareness of the current issues that Hawaii has been facing, one of them being their native monk seals. What I explain throughout this information design is defining the Hawaiian monk seal and what they look like. I want to talk about the relevance and significance of the monk seal and for the people of Hawaii. The bottom portion explains tips and ways to help these native species to not be extinct as they are one of the last living type of monk seals other than the mediterranean monk seal.
